Fruit from the Grant Family Vineyard near Lake Melones in Calaveras County.  This clone of Barbera is known to be richer and more complex than the Barbera made for Hatcher.  Vanilla and cherries in the nose, the mouthfeel is rich with blackberry jam and plum.  Medium body, nice acid that makes Barbera a food friendly wine.
