Fruit from the Lyman Vineyard in Amador County.  Dark red in color.  Aromas of dark fruit, plum and blackberry, with hints of cedar.  Soft mouthfeel.  Flavors of cooked fruit, like blackberry pie with tobacco undertones.  Medium tannins with a long finish.  Pairs well with BBQ spare ribs.
